But it's intuitive *to me* because of thinking I did long ago relating to instantaneously decodable codes, wherein my texbook said that one code could not be the "prefix" of another, e.g., "011" and "01101" could not both be valid codes. 4. In any case, as Albert says, it's a moderately silly thread. The *proper* way IMO is for a newbie to learn to do this simple test via a simple regular expression. 5.
