I tried a number of simple threading tests under the msvc versions of Ruby and had sporadic problems with threads stalling. For example, printed data would not be displayed until the threads were finished. Oh, and for the list: I noticed that my Hash#sprintf was incorrect in the previous e-mail.. Here's the correct: class Hash def sprintf( *args ) if args == []; return; end eval "return Kernel::sprintf( '" + args.shift + "', " + args.sjoin( "self[ '%s' ]", ", " ) + " )" end end -- Jonathan Gillette iNetZ Media (801) 415-2566
