I copied the libmySQL.dll and the simple.rb script now runs correctly. Thanks! I don't have much to say about the platform. The client says it needs to run on Windows 7 so I do what I can to meet their expectations. I tried another example from the same kitebird.com source. The xml.rb script produces an error that seems to indicate a bug in the either ruby or the extensions. I don't know if I'm still missing something or is there really a problem that needs to be fixed.
