I presume you mean c:\go\file1.rb exists and you want to be able to do c:\>file1.rb and have it run. ) you might be able to get it to work by once "executing it" in explorer. It should then show up in PATHEXT, mine is: PATHEXT=.COM;.EXE;.BAT;.CMD;.VBS;.VBE;.JS;.JSE;.WSF;.WSH;.MSC;.wlua;.lexe;.RB;.RBW if that doesn't work then you could write a batch file that searches the path, and executes it for you.
