I think you would like to look at the Rake::Task#reenable method: ~> ri Rake::Task#reenable ---------------------------------------------------- Rake::Task#reenable reenable() ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Reenable the task, allowing its tasks to be executed if the task is invoked again.
