No, I checked.  The Japanese mailing list - ruby-list had file crash
problem, probably due to a race condition bug in the distribution
software.  But I couldn't find any evidence of troubles for ruby-talk.

Since this mail and others are distributed, it's probably mere
coincidence.  Conrad told me in the personal mail that people in the
US may be pretty busy for pre-holiday period.
