From: Pat Eyler Date: 2002-03-26T06:50:26+09:00 Subject: Seattle.rb monthly project Again, this is kind of late notice, but it might be worthwhile anyway. The Seattle Users Group is going to be working on programming projects at each of our meetings. We've also decided to use an XP flavored approach (as close to XP as we can get). This month, we're going to start working on a web based mail archive. We've started putting stories up at www.rubygarden.org/ruby?SeattleGroupMarchProject -- starting sometime late Tuesday we'll organize the stories we have tus far into managable chunks and on Thursday at our meeting, we'll start implementing. So why is all of this important to you? We'd like to get other folks thoughts, stories, discussion, etc. on the project (and the next one, and the next one ...). Ideally, by the end of the week, there will be a useful (though not complete) version of the tool with unit tests and a plan for adding more functionality in managable stages available for your hacking pleasure. happy hacking, -pate
