From: Patrik Sundberg Date: 2002-03-24T04:53:48+09:00 Subject: ruby-gtk fatal error hi, I am writing an application using gtk, threads and sockets. When my application has performed any thread- and socket operations I alwats get this on stderr when closing the application (using exit(0)): Gdk-ERROR **: Fatal IO error 9 (Bad file descriptor) on X server :0.0. When this occurs my window closes but control isn't returned to the shell, instead the process starts some infinte loop consuming lots of CPU. Does anyone know what this could be? I use latest stable ruby snapshot and ruby-gnome 0.27 under FreeBSD 4.5. -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------.
