This has come up in the past, but I'm not up-to-date on this issue.

win32ole allows COM interaction ... in .vbs one can specify a machine name
as a 2nd parameter in CreateObject (same as WIN32OLE.new), but it doesn't
appear win32ole allows this. That'd be a nice feature to add in.
