I do this for my site -- I wrote a tool that will built static pages using server-side includes. Right now it's a Windows binary written in Delphi -- I also have Linux version written with OpenPascal, but it's been ages since I checked it out. I've been thinking about re-writing it in Ruby, cuz it'd be a cinch, but since my current tool works, I haven't done it yet. If you're interested (although you've received some compelling ruby solutions), you can check it out here: http://clabs.org/scrpware.htm (or mirrored here - I moved my site and have been having dns problems: http://scrapware.sf.net/scrpware.htm). Look for clSSSI. Chris
