Subject: watir and shoes problem

Hi I was trying to write a scrip useing the watir gem and shoes gui. I
know how to install the gem to shoes but i get the error


hoe requires RubyGems version >= 1.3.1

This happens as shoes trys to install the gem.

I have the most recent ruby gems so cant update, cant find a solution
online anywhere Has any one else had the same issue??????????????????
