Hmmmm,

The question that comes to mind is "how important is the lack of a True Fork"?
I've found that most of the work I have done doesn't really need forks, and
perhaps that is my own limited design skills coming out.

It would seem like this is a "show-stopper" but I don't really understand
what the show is about...
