I'm not really sure what it was supposed to do, but it's gone now ;-) I
believe it was part of an older build system used by one of the previous
maintainers. I've noticed it before, but never gotten around to fixing
it -- it's now been fixed in CVS.

Thanks for the report -- let me know if you find any more bugs in
Ruby-Gtk.
