From: Bil Kleb Date: 2002-03-19T15:26:21+09:00 Subject: Ruby-Gtk extraneous symlink? I just noticed that upon building both gtk-0.25 and gtk-0.27 from source that they both made a broken simlink in the top level directory: gtk.a -> src/gtk.a (there is no gtk.a in the src directory.) This seems to be coming from the toplevel Makefile, @if [ ! -r gtk.a ]; then ln -sf src/gtk.a gtk.a; fi Is there a purpose to this? Have I somehow failed to build them correctly? ruby 1.6.7 (2002-03-08) [i686-linux] (RH7.2) TIA, -- Bil Kleb NASA Langley Research Center Hampton, Virginia, USA
