Subject: Configure.in issues

Hi,

I've had a look at the ruby's configure.in, and I've got three questions, hoping anybody has the answers here they are :

-Autoconf 2.53 _prohibits_ the use of $LIBOBJS and forces the use of AC_LIBOBJS, so configure.in may not be compatible with future autoconf releases. I've replaced entries such as :
LIBOBJS="$LIBOBJS os2.$OBJEXT"
with
AC_LIBOBJ(os2)
Could this be a problem ?


-In line 285 there's :
 save_LIBOJBS="$LIBOBJS"
 AC_STRUCT_ST_BLOCKS
 LIBOBJS="$save_LIBOBJS"

I can't figure what is this block's purpose, plus as mentioned above, it's invalid ... Is there a work around ?


-My tool seems to work but needs further testing , but unlike ruby, its name is not customizable (ie it will always be 'ruby-config'). Is it a problem ?
