Subject: Extconf.rb: how to add specific include/lib dirs?

Is it possible to specify a complete include or lib directory that is needed
to build an extension, and I don't mean the --with-<name>-dir
or --with-<name>-include ways.
These assume that include and library files will always reside in an
/include and /lib subdirectory respectively. Mine don't and I have no
intention to change that... And hacking the generated Makefile isn't to
pretty either (although it works of course).
