This may not be a good practice, but I get the files from an external party, so I cannot change this :( In a short example: require 'xmltreebuilder' input = "" doc = XML::SimpleTree::Builder.new.parse(input) puts doc[0].to_s -> 'new line' when it should return 'new\nline'. I'm wondering if this is actually a feature of xmlparser-0.6.1 or a bug. It's the first time I see new lines inside the attributes... Has anyone seen this issue before? Any help on it?
