A side note. This thing bugged me too, but then I noticed this way: module MyInsanelyLongModuleName def self.module_method puts self, type end end Are there any gotchas wrt using just "self." instead of "MyInsanelyLongModuleName." when defining a module method like this? If not, I'm rewiring my brain to use this exclusively :-) -- <[ Kent Dahl ]>================<[ http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~kentda/ ]> )__(stud.techn.; ind. econ & management: computer technology)__( /"Opinions expressed are mine and not those of my Employer, "\ ( "the University, my girlfriend, stray cats, banana fruitflies, " ) \"nor the frontal lobe of my left cerebral hemisphere.
