   A summary of activity on the ruby-talk mailing list, brought to you

   ANNOUNCEMENTS
   =============
   
   DbTalk 0.5
          Dalibor Sramek has released a new version of DbTalk which is an
          interactive GUI based tool for database querying, programming,
          and administration etc... It consists of three basic parts: SQL
          editor, query result viewer and database structure viewer. Get
          DbTalk([1]).
          
   RDoc Alpha C
          Dave Thomas has released another version of RDoc. RDoc is a
          Javadoc-alike documentation tool for Ruby. To briefly
          summarize, the latest features are: XML support, RDF
          generation, support for parsing C extensions, supports
          SimpleMarkup-only files, an alpha contribution of David Alan
          Black's Formatting Object support. Get RDoc([2]).
          
   Ruby/SMB Beta 1
          Henrik Falck has released a new version of Ruby/SMB. Ruby/SMB
          is an extension library for connecting to SMB network resources
          (such as Windows file shares) using samba's libsmbclient. Get
          Ruby/SMB([3]).
          
   INTERESTING THREADS

   Ruby Presentations
          A small thread was started to collect some Ruby
          presentations/articles that could be used to create a
          presentation from. Others may find themselves in a similar
          situation of educating others about Ruby. Look through this
          thread for initial information.
