Subject: PDF::Writer and rubyw

Hi all,
  Has anyone used PDF::Writer successfully with RubyW?  THey don't seem
to work well together, my programs simply terminate as soon as they are
executed.  Removing

require 'pdf/writer'

solves the problem.  Please help!
