I am trying to eliminate as much spam as possible. I would rather see replies in the newsgroup anyway so everyone can comment. Given that MS never released any code it is hard to give screen shots etc. The best reference is generative programming which is linked to from the page I gave. I am not going to put something on the page that violates copyright. Again, all I wanted to do was see the interest level in this and get people together. The reason I posted here was because there was some previous, albeit not much, discussion on this group. The page is a few days old and was meant to evolve as people showed interest and provided feedback. I will see what I can do to put examples on the page. You are right, the editor infrastructure would be complex compared with a text editor. One of the examples in the GP book is a program that is defined as a series of pictorial logical gates. If people want to stick with what they know that is fine. I personally think that IP has much to offer. John.
