I've been running into a similar problem and tried to use
ERuby.import, however when I use that code snippet:

>   <% ERuby.import "filename.rhtml" %>

I get a method not found error.
Any ideas?
I have eruby running well and use .rhtml files all the time.  I've
just never tried to call a method direction from the ERuby module.  I
know its there however ERuby.type returns "Module"

i'm stuck.
