I would rather not have 1.7 use 1.6 modules, because an installer might
install a slightly different version of a script on each version (to
avoid having to check which version it's running under at run-time).
Some of the scripts might even be generated scripts; installing a script
that is generated for 1.6 might not be safe to run under 1.7 and
vice-versa.
