A minor incompatibility: the original toplevel 'rubyunit' aliased the
global constant

   TestCase = RUNIT::TestCase

so that all you had to write was

   require 'rubyunit'

   class TestFred < TestCase
     ...


Although it's slightly tacky having a class outside a module, it
would be nice to keep this so that existing tests don't break.
