Yes I have considered it but I am not sure it facilitates clean
separation of HTML from Ruby.  Does it work similarly to the regular
CGI stuff included in the Ruby distribution?

My impression is that it requires an entirely different paradigm from
what I want to do: write pure Ruby that "prints" to a template thus
keeping HTML and code cleanly separated.

Is there some example code around I can look at?  I looked briefly at
the FastCGI site....perhaps I need to spend some more time looking it
over.
