I have a lambda in my (slightly languishing) DVI-file parsing library with the comment: # Most of this proc is by Joel VanderWerf. above it -- a slightly mutated version of something from Bit-struct :-) I can't remember why I didn't just use the Bit-struct version directly, but there was something I needed to tweak. If I ever get back to that project I'll try to integrate more gracefully or at least mention the gem. David -- David A.
