Take a look at locana_template.rb at locana.org.  If you fill in the 
methods for all the classes defined in locana_template.rb, the GUI 
builder will run.  I used this to create the tk bindings and the HTML 
binding.  The most challanging part has been getting the local events 
properly into the event handler.
