As I said in my post, I have already read previous posts
and I am already aware of the different approaches to
GUI programming and design.

Precisely, I wanted to comment on *that* threads
trying to resume them in 4 simple ideas.
Many individuals may be happy taking any approach
they want, but at least some try to think of it as
part of a community and not only as a particular
solution for their own domain problem.

I already know that we can do GUIs in
Ruby, but what matters to me is whether we can
afford to have a  coherent, cross-platform, modern,
good-looking, fast, efficient, internationalizable
GUI API for Ruby.

I think that was the spirit behind the threads you've
mentioned.

Few human beings are able to be really innovative, some
of us just create collages from the works of others.

Sorry for extending this thread one message more,
nothing new under the sun, it's all about bytes.
