Hi,

I asked them (my german host) what exactly they meant by "not stable 
enough", and that possibly, some problems could be resolved.
I also added that NASA, Lucent, Motorola, and the World Wide Web 
Consortium are happily using Ruby.

The replied ~
"Unfortunately, we're not planning on featuring Ruby.
We'll stick with popular languages like PHP and Perl."

So I'll continue to distribute my site between servers at two hosting 
companies, each on a different continent.
