The desire to seperate the code from the HTML is one of the main goals 
of IOWA.  I haven't used the other options enough to say "IOWA is the 
best" but I do know it does a very good job of providing that seperation.

We just recently fixed a segfault when using mod_iowa and there is also 
the option of using CGI or fcgi to run it.  If you're up for trying it 
again, you could try the newest version on the web site.  And drop us a 
line if you have problems.
