How do other people do this? I don't know if anyone is working on a dialog editor for FOX anymore. I had hoped someone would take over development of Martin Welch's DlgEdit (which he seems to have abandoned) and, at some point, added support for non-C++ code generation backends. If that were to happen I would be more than happy to write a Ruby code generation backend for it; I just don't have the time to pick up and maintain another complete project like DlgEdit. But to also address your immediate problem: if you have a particular program that you'd like me to take a look at (regarding layout issues) just let me know. If you're using the standard layout managers they shouldn't be clipping windows' text like you're describing.
