Subject: MYSql on Windows - help!


OK - I've just blown two hours trying to get mysql-ruby-2.4.2 to
compile and link under Windows, both using the mswin32 Ruby and
Cygwin. I can't get extconf.rb to run successfully with either Ruby,
and if I manually edit the Makefile I'm getting lots of duplicate
symbols during the link on the mswin32 version. I'm using a fresh
download of Mysql 3.23, installed in the default location.

If anyone has a Makefile, or tips for configuring extconf, for either
cygwin or (preferably) mswin32, I'd much appreciate it.
