Version 0.5 of MacRuby apparently uses LLVM already: "This future  
version of MacRuby is freakishly fast and uses the LLVM to generate  
code for the Objective-C runtime."

I tried the latest from Subversion and it has rubygems issues as well,  
but only because the runtimes are different which seems to confuse  
RubyGems.
