Subject: Deploying a rails app on Cherokee

Hi. I'm running Cherokee web server on Debian, and so far while I've
been learning Rails I've been hosting it on Mongrel. I want to be able
to put my rails app functions inside of a larger, broader web page, but
the tutorial (Cherokee recipes) didn't have success: (I think) that I
setup FCGI for Ruby, but I'm really not sure.
  -  The guide included copying a softlink to the rails public folder
into my web document root. This provided a host/AppName access, but
./AppName/Controllers/crap didn't work.
Does anyone know the proper way to set up Rails (Or Ruby) for Cherokee.
If not, what options do I have in terms of tying my app into the web
page?
