Subject: eruby / mod_ruby - installation problems with header files

Hi,

I'm having problems building eruby & mod_ruby on Linux Mandrake 8.1 (I
managed this OK using FreeBSD a couple of months ago).

When I try and execute the configure.rb files, it gives the error
message 'Can't find header files for ruby' (this happens with both). I
presume this does mean the header files for RUBY not ERUBY.

Ruby was installed automatically with the OS, so I downloaded the
source and grabbed the header files, but this message still appears,
even when I pass the --includedir option.

Any suggestions
