It would be nice to know what ``this'' is, rather than having to

Let me take a wild wild guess: you're reading it with a newsreader,
aren't you?

No, you would have a mean to quickly filter out whole sets of messages
depending on a theme, in other words exactly what who raised the issue
was asking for.

I'm out of creativity because I can't see how expressing the subject
of a message in a both a generic/thematic way (``[GUI]'') and a
specific way (``Nice idea for a toolkit''), can be a problem.  Heck,
it would probably make discussions more manageable even if there were
*no* traffic issue!

Both tags are already in use and there has been no such discussion.
I'm starting to feel that there is a lot of imagined problems floating
around.

Neither did I, as I read most of the list.  The proposal simply aims
to make the list more readable to the ninth and the tenth reader while
making no difference to the other eight (or making small improvements,
which never hurt anyway).
