This is my analysis:

parse.rb:494:in `gets':
==> in this routine, local variable "l" returns a line with \r in WINDOWS

parse.rb:1087:in `identify_here_document'

    str = ""
    while (l = gets.chomp) && (indent ? l.strip : l) != quoted
      str << l << "\n"
    end

==> in above routine "l" has a \r, but quoted does not.

   i.e. l = _FILE_PAGE_\r    quoted = _FILE_PAGE_
   from kilmer.rb   FILE_PAGE = <<_FILE_PAGE_
                          ---
                          _FILE_PAGE_

       so it can't get out of while loop
       it happens in windows system
