Error found!
In the script I have to put "localhost", or IP address:
conn = InterBase::connect('localhost:/ibase/arianna.gdb', 'sysdba',
'masterkey')
                                          ^^^^^^^^^
insteat of:
conn = InterBase::connect('/ibase/arianna.gdb', 'sysdba', 'masterkey')
