I don't do real benchmarks tests, but I just run the fib.rb example with
native ruby and JRuby. Native ruby needs < 0.25 sec, JRuby ~ 9 sec.
But I don't think this is a good example because the implementation of
the Fixnum class in JRuby uses objects in contrast to the ints of native
ruby.
