From: Leslie Henlsey Date: 2002-01-25T03:36:45+09:00 Subject: [ANN] Mnemonic 0.9 Mnemonic is object prevalence layer for Ruby. It provides a persistence mechanism that is orders of magnitude FASTER and SIMPLER than a DBMS. It is based on the work of the Prevayler project at http://www.prevayler.org The project homepage is at: http://www.papermountain.org/twiki/bin/view/Stuff/MnemonicHome 0.9 is feature complete (for the 1.0 release) and fully usable. Changes in this release: * Loading and saving of snapshots * Rotating of command logs * Removed dependence on patching Ruby interpreter. An fsync extention is now included. * MnemonicArray and MnemonicHash for easy use of Mnemonic in small scripts * Minor bug fix. Any bug reports, feature requests, or documentation suggestions are more than welcome. I would particularly appreciate any help in getting Mnemonic to install smoothly on Windows systems (both cygwin and VC++ based). Leslie pretsel on #ruby-lang
