Zsh has an interesting setup; the lists are tiered, so you have: zsh-workers > zsh-users > zsh-announce So subscribing to zsh-workers automatically puts you on the upper two lists. People who want a lighter list can join zsh-users and still take advantage of the extra experience you may find on -workers.
