On some michines running Win98 (eg. my box at home) the list is built up that fast - I can't read it anyway. This behavoiur might well be the result of a certain OS - hardware combination. Eg. my system is a 1.2GHz AMD, 256 MB, Win98 2nd ed. - and as noted earlier the installer is done in no time (well, nearly so). The other issue is the undisplayed dialog to enter the the location of the editor to be used for Rubies. Stephan
