It's been a pet project for the past month or so and the time is ripe to release it on the unsuspecting masses (of potential developers). It started out as a C++ project prototyped in Ruby, but I gave up on the C++ part. BotFrenzy is pure Ruby. The game is pre-alpha and barely playable. The main purpose of this release is to gather interest for development and acquire feedback. However, everyone is welcome to play with the flaky development version and learn from the code. Currently, the game requires Ruby/Gtk, RUDL, Ruby/GdkPixbuff and probably works only on Linux/Unix. I do intend to make the game playable on various platforms, but I need serious help to achieve that.
