(2) The only near-future hope for cross-platform Ruby GUIs that run on MacOS X is Ruby/Qt. Is this correct? I tried getting Ruby/Tk running on MacOS X last night, and had no luck. It could be because it just needs some trivial modification, but I suspect it's related to the same issues that are making Perl/Tk not work on MacOS X. There's a guy named Jim Ingham at Apple who did the Tk port, but he isn't planning (allowed?) to spend more time on getting Tk to work with Perl/Tk. I haven't delved too far into Ruby/Qt. Apparently Ruby/Qt3 will be required for MacOS X, and Ruby/Qt3 doesn't exist yet?? Is this right? Is Qt3 a version of Qt that hasn't come out yet, and that will then have to be ported to MacOS X?
