I have to say the I really like the architecture and implementation of SWT and I would love to be using it in FreeRIDE. We temporarily tabled the discussion over GUI toolkits because: 1) There was no obvious choice that met all of our requirements. 2) We realized the bulk of our initial work was not heavily dependent on the GUI toolkit, so there was no need to commit ourselves, yet. 3) We wanted to start moving forward and get hung up in an overly long design phase, and #2 let us defer this issue without too much worry. In the meantime (as I tried to hint strongly before), if someone out there wants to port SWG, FreeRIDE could be the first "customer"! Curt
