There is official feedback mail address ipr-feedback at notwork.org. This morning, I've been set up WEBrick user's mailing list webricken (and webricja for Japanese). To subscribe this list, please send the following phrase subscribe Your-first-name Your-last-name to the address webricken-ctl at notwork.org. This is described in http://www.notwork.org/ipr/webrick/ . > I was going to check out WEBrick v1.1.3 on a Windows 2000 box. However, I'm also running a Visual C++ build of Ruby 1.6.6. > With that build, I can *start* the sample httpd server: > but when I try to contact the server via my web browser > (http://localhost:2000) I get no response (i.e. the browser eventually times > out waiting for a response). That is regenerated here. I used 1.6.6-i586-mswin32 compiled by U.Nakamura: http://www.dm4lab.to/~usa/ruby/index_en.html . The phenominon IO::select() returns [[], [], []], unfortunately, it is difficult to regenerate by shorter code. However httpd.rb works fine with the latest version of 1.7.2 binary. So, a solution is to use 1.7.2, we ipr use the current usually. HTH -- Gotoken
