Hmmm. Some Wikis allow for notification via email of whether or not a page
has been modified. It appears that Ruby Garden does not. That looks like
the UseMod Wiki engine-- is there a Wiki written in Ruby out there yet?

Speaking of Ruby and Wikis, what would people find helpful on a Ruby Wiki?
I've just set up a Wiki using the TWiki engine, but my only plans for the
Ruby section are the Ruby translations I'm doing of the Perl scripts in
"Mastering Algorithms with Perl" (the O'Reilly book). I'll post URL to the
Ruby section when it's ready for show.

On that note, is there any Ruby documentation that people would like to
have as a Wiki (so it can be annotated, footnoted, repaired, discussed,
and most importantly read), but hasn't yet been posted to one? Obviously
the license must be appropriate to this sort of use, but if the material
is available and would be something people would be interested in having
in interactive online form, I would be willing to do the work of posting
the starting document to the Wiki to get things started.

One thing I would like to work on is a "Programming Ruby for Tk". But
since no one has written that yet (that I know of, or have seen in
English), all I could provide at this point would be an outline based on
the Tcl/Tk docs.

I must say that the availability of "Programming Ruby" as an open/free
online resource was a major push in getting me into Ruby, and would like
to see more stuff like this out there. And for what it's worth, the book
being online was a huge inducement to buy a printed copy. To me that sets
the bar for all future technical manual purchases.
