I think any sufficiently pious member of the Church of Lambda will
consider backslash to be the best real-world representation of the divine
symbol. This leads us to syntax like:

	\a\b\c( ... )

(with parens optional depending on priority) meaning

	proc{|a,b,c| ... }

with some impedance mismatch due to
	(1) currying
	(2) variadic procs like {|x,*y|...}
	(3) {|x|...} vs {|x,|...}
	(4) {||} vs {}
