Subject: Is freetds working with ruby?

Hi

I still need to connect my ruby programs to a microsoft sql server 7
database. I use Redhat 7.1. I have tried with unixodbc and ruby-odbc but i
can't make it work. so i'd like to know if i can use freetds like i did with
perl? Or if there's another way to do it
