Subject: shooting star - bug resolvin

I toyed for some time with shooting star plugin for rails. It has bug
that prevents it from working in firefox, which makes it unusable for
me. Problem lies within firefox security rules that forbids javascript
in different windows from different hosts to interact.
What would be best way of writing something like proxy server which will
hide two different servers under one address on one port?
